In celebration of Stern’s brand new Game of Thrones pinball machine being released, we’re inviting you all to our launch event on Sunday 29th November from 11am-4pm.
We will have a wide range of over 22 pinball machines in our showroom set to freeplay for you to play during the event, including vintage pinball machines like The Addams Family and Doctor Who, to two brand new Game of Thrones Pro machines which have just landed in our showroom!
Our team will be getting into the spirit by dressing up as some of the Game of Thrones characters, which will be great fun! Feel free to come on down, dress up if you wish and play on some of your favourite pinball machines for free. We will have a selection of free drinks available on the day too!
Some Game of Thrones pinball translites will be up for grabs, supplied by Stern themselves, for the highest scoring players on the Game of Thrones pinball machines and will be awarded at the end of the event.
The Game of Thrones pinball machine by Stern is based on one of the biggest TV series of all time, HBO’s A Game of Thrones. Since the series was released in 2011, it has won over 12 awards for its outstanding acting, amazing CGI and fast-paced storyline.
This highly anticipated machine features the Dragon Kickback which fires the ball back into the game, custom speech from actor Rory McCann as Sandor Clegane, aka "The Hound” and much more, making the Game of Thrones pinball machine a big hit with pinball players and fans of the TV series alike - and it was only released last month!
Game of Thrones is well liked by our team, here at HLD, due to the vibrant playfield artwork and LED lighting, the many interactive toys within the game like the Dragon toy, Iron Throne and Sword Lock. At the start of the game you can choose to be a knight under the Stark, Greyjoy, Baratheon, Lannister, Martel or Tyrell houses and during the game you get the chance to battle other houses.
Blackwater Multiball is definitely one of the highlights of the game, during this multiball the whole playfield lights up in an array of colour and the game becomes very fast paced. It’s the main multiball in the game, although there are many others to explore…
