We’ve recently had the very popular Spider-Man pinball machine installed in our showroom alongside other pinball machines. This pinball game was released from the premier US pinball manufacturer, Stern Inc., in 2007 and has repeatedly been voted among the top 15 pinball machines ever. Packed with features from the Spider-Man film and Marvel comics, this pinball game is great fun to play whether you are an amateur pinball player, a silverball pro, or a fan of the Marvel Spider Man license.
Seamlessly interwoven with characters and plots in the Spider-Man films and comics, this game has managed to get the perfect balance between exciting game play and fun pinball features. Packed with villains and skill shots, the humorous streak in the theme gives a quirky edge to the game and a fun contrast to the intense silver ball action, by adding tongue-in-cheek comments or newspaper reporter style statements.
Boasting four molded figures including the Green Goblin, who hovers on his glider above the Pumpkin Bomb targets, Venom, whose ramp feeds the ball back to the left flipper, Dr. Octopus, whose magnet holds the ball in a 'Fusion Malfunction' and Sandman, who has a whirlwind of targets and a motor 3-bank at the center. Beat them all and you’re really in for an exciting level!
Currently the Stern Spider-Man pinball machine is ranked Number 11 in Pinside’s All Time Top 100, scoring 8.4/10 and is ranked 15th on the Internet Pinball Database, scoring 8.2/10. With smooth game play, it’s clear that this machine was designed by the legendary ‘Master of Flow’, Steve Ritchie, and is sure to be one of the top machines for many years to come.
Our Stern Spider-Man pinball machine is in fantastic condition from playfield to exterior, having been looked after really well by its previous owner. If you want to try it out in our Bristol showroom, please ring ahead to make sure it is still on display as this is a highly sought after machine and is sure to be packed off and sent it a new home soon!
