Originally launched in the wave of euphoria following WW2, Paul Fuller's post art-deco design is arguably the most popular jukebox ever made. Of the original 65,000 Wurlitzer 1015s sold, only around 6,000 remain in the market and would now cost over £10,000 to buy.
It has been imitated before, however Sound Leisure has lovingly created it's own '1015' the old fashioned way...
The Sound Leisure Nostalgia 1015 is lovingly created to retain all that was loved about the original design. Hand crafted from a one-piece wooden cabinet, adorned with real chrome castings and lit by an ever changing light display enhanced by dancing bubbles. Just one jukebox takes 45 man hours to produce by the tem of dedicated craftsmen and women.
The Nostalgia 1015 is a 'real' jukebox that now offers a vast choice of music from the 80 CD mechanism and fitted iPod dock, which is some improvement on the choice of 24 songs from the stack of 78 rpm vinyl available on the 1946 original! It can be controlled manually from the jukebox, or via the remote, and is powered by a 300-watt stereo amplifier, to provide a rich and powerful audio.
The team at Sound Leisure are rightly proud of their latest creation. “The new Nostalgia truly is a dream machine. It harks back to the glory years of the 1015, which some believe was the greatest jukebox of its time. We have brought the design into the 21st Century, without sacrificing any of the quality that made the 1015 justifiably famous,” says Alan Black.
“We realise that our latest Nostalgia is set to become a collector’s item, in the same way as many of our other Classic jukeboxes. We are initially aiming the box at the consumer/home market, but as the machine is available with a coin-mech – commercial use is also possible,” says Chris Black, Sound Leisure Managing Director.

Diamond Pack:
Make a dramatic impact with the ‘Diamond Pack’ lighting option. Instead of the regular traditional lighting bars and coloured pilaster rotiseries, Sound Leisure pack the dome and side diffusers with the latest combination Red, Green and Blue LED technology!
Specially designed in-house at Sound Leisure this system is low heat, low watt and SUPER BRIGHT! The RGB lighting system allows almost any colour of light you like and what’s more, you can control it to suit your environment or mood. Use the jukebox remote to stop the lighting on any colour you choose as it crossfades between infinite shades or set the lighting to move seamlessly between various colour changing patterns.
Default lighting patterns include:
- Antique : This rotates the colour scheme up the side pillasters replicating the original rotiseries found in original 1940’s machines. A classic look.
- Xi : As found in our Xi jukebox for the iPod, this gives a crystal style glow in blues, pinks and soft greens, then dives to deep reds and purples before softening out again. Simple yet dramatic, a more modern feel and a sample of the Xi experience.
- Disco Lightshow : Sound to light sequencing offering a vivid display of all colours as they flash in time with the music. Great for parties.
- Plus many more.

Getting great sound couldn't be easier. The transmitter clicks onto, and is powered by your iPod. No batteries or cable are required. No computer software is involved, Bluetooth wireless technology assures low battery consumption, excellent range and hi-fidelity sound. Range up to 21 metres.
This product works with all iPods and most mp3 players. However there are a few different attachments, so when ordering we will need to know which iPod you have.

Sound Leisure has been busy developing loudspeaker technology, using high powered transducers to produce a versatile range of flat-panel speakers, with greater frequency response. This results in crisp and clear audio output.
Our new range of MicroPro speakers has been specifically designed for use alongside the Classic Jukebox range, to maximise the sound experience and to enhance the stereo image from the amplifier. These compact units are manufactured using wood veneers to match the jukebox, or in textured BLACK or WHITE. Mounted on a matching plinth The printed fascia replicates the jukebox speaker grille, but the front simply pops off, so that the whole A4 viewing area can be used as a photo frame.
