The Atlantic Pool Table is the finest contemporary professional English pool table available. It features the finest slate playing surface, a top cabinet constructed in marine ply veneered with a range of Formica laminates. The Atlantic Pool Table has an aluminium extruded top rail and unique "ProActive" cushion system which provides the most consistent ball response possible. Sam's Atlantic Pool Table has been approved by BAPTO (British Association of Pool Table Operators) for use in the National Tournament.The BAPTO Tournament has been running for 35 years, and is open to any amateur pub pool team. This huge event takes part each year and Sam tables are used, due to their superb playing characteristics and build quality.
The Atlantic has been used in all BAPTO National Finals since 1999 - a mark of its enduring popularity and high standard of construction. The Atlantic was also selected for use in the House of Commons pool tournament 2010 - even Members of Parliament choose the Atlantic!
Home Leisure Direct have worked closely with Sam on the design of this year's table, and have selected the stunning Silver Sunrise finish for the official tables in this years tournament. The Sam Atlantic BAPTO pool table has Limited Edition Embroidery on the cloth, where specified, which is available as an option.
The Sam Atlantic table is specified with the ProActive Steel Response cushion system, as mentioned above. This is also highlighted with cushion embroidery at the other end of the table.

Hainsworth® MATCH snooker and pool cloth has been the cloth of the ACBS, Match Room Snooker, SPA, BAPTO, EUKPF, AFEBAS, the World Pool Championships, French Grand National, British Open and many other top tournaments. Hainsworth® MATCH is produced for pool & snooker tournament standard tables, is available in olive green only.
Specifying this cloth would normally add £250 to the price of the table, but as it has been used for 3 days in the BAPTO tournament we are offering this for free.

We are able to fit your table with a choice of Premium cloth colours. If you need a certain colour to suit your decor or want your new table to stand out from the crowd you can select this as an upgrade. The cloths are of the highest quality, and are manufactured by Hainsworth. The type of cloth we recommend is Smart cloth. This is a performance cloth that delivers big on value and longevity whilst offering excellent speed and ball response.

Cushion Embroidery:
Your Sam Atlantic Champion will be embroidered with "BAPTO Limited Edition" and "Pro Active STEEL Response", as shown below.
Custom Embroidery:
Alternatively, you can specify your own custom embroidery, providing you are selecting a Smart cloth upgrade. You can choose to have your name, or signature, or company name embroidered in each of the end custom cloths. Just let us know what you would like and email us your design, or logo.
Availability:
Occasionally these tables will be held in stock in the UK. Delivery and installation will be available in approximately 1 to 2 weeks. If the table needs to be made to your specifications then this will take around 2 to 4 weeks to be completed, depending upon your chosen specifications. It will then need to be shipped to us in the UK and we will arrange installation with you. Therefore, allow 3 to 5 weeks from date of ordering for your table to be installed.

Optional Lighting:
The Sam Leisure lighting range provides the perfect lighting system for all pool rooms and for the use in tournaments. The specially designed cone of light illuminates the playfield equally, not creating any shadows or darker areas. The player's eyes will not be dazzled, allowing a concentrated and undisturbed game.
Both lights are constructed from a steel framework, with steel cable and ceiling fitting. They have 2 flourescent tubes fitted as standard.

- Mist Shade - Strikingly modern shades that offer superb lighting to the playing surface but also deliver ambient light to the games room for a contemporary, accessible feel. These rugged steel canopies house fluorescent tubes for the best playing environment. Methacrylate end panels and centre rings radiate light that illuminate without dazzling. - Iris Shade - elegantly curved shades that mirror the apron shape of the K Steel they were designed for. Robust, solid steel shades housing fluorescent tubes for the best playing environment. Delivery and installation are free to most locations within mainland UK.
However for locations further north than Glasgow or in Cornwall there may be an additional charge depending upon your exact location. Please call our friendly customer service team on 0800 622 6464 for a quote.
The table will be professionally handled by one of our fully insured specialist two man delivery teams. It will be placed in a ground floor room of your choice, and all packaging removed.
Our team will professionally level the table and show you how to do so yourself, as this is something you will need to do throughout the life of your pool table. They have years of experience, and will be able to answer any questions about the care and use of your table to ensure you get the very best from your new purchase. You will be left with a perfectly installed table, ready to play the first frame of many.
Upstairs, downstairs, and other hard to reach locations:
It is possible to deliver and install the table to a location with difficult access - loft conversions, basements, upstairs, downstairs, up and down steep slopes etc - but this will be at an extra cost.
