Coronavirus Update: Services running as normal. Showrooms Closed

We are open! And always have been.

We are incredibly busy with customers looking to entertain themselves at home. Our manufacturers are busy producing products, but with some delays due to component shortages, clearing the backlog of orders, and an increase in sales.

Deliveries are running as normal, following social distancing guidelines. We will talk you through the processes when we book your delivery and send you an email to confirm the details.

Our showrooms are closed from Thursday 5th November, in line with government requirements. We will re-open once we are allowed, which we hope will be from Thursday 3rd December.

Our first appointments will be available from Thursday 3rd December, then running for Fridays and Saturdays only after that. If you need another day please call and we will see if we can accommodate your requirements.

  

Home-working:

Our Sales Team are working from home, with access to all our systems. We are available by phone, email, or live chat.

Showrooms:

To arrange to visit us please call our sales team and book an appointment - call 0800 622 6464 or 01179 413636. Due to social distancing rules, we cannot accept ad hoc visits without booking an appointment.

Please follow our requirements below:

  • maximum of two customers per visit - sorry, no children
  • park outside Long Byre showroom - the first showroom you see as you enter the business park
  • wait outside the showroom at your appointment time
  • our sales staff will allow access once the showrooms are clear of previous visitors
  • ensure you wear a mask, if you don't have one we can provide one for you
  • use hand sanitiser upon entering, or use our rest rooms to wash your hands
  • appointments are for a maximum of 1 hour 15 mins and cannot over-run
  • we can re-book you for another appointment if you do run over this time period
  • products can be touched but should be kept to a minimum
  • products will be cleaned after each visit
  • please observe 2m social distancing
  • no products can be collected from the showrooms - they will be delivered to you free of charge

We are extremely busy with bookings, so please be understanding if we can't book you in as soon as you would like.

New Orders:

We are incredibly busy with customers ordering products to keep themselves entertained during this period. There is a backlog of orders with many of our manufacturers, so placing your order as soon as possible is advisable to get your place in the production queue.

If you are placing an order at the moment please bear in mind that the normal delivery times will most likely not be able to be achieved. We will arrange your delivery as soon as we are able.

Many manufacturers have already closed their order books for products to be delivered before Christmas, I know... It's crazy! But many of them still have some capacity left, but this is likely to last only until mid-October, then most will close their order books. We urge you to consider what you wish to purchase as soon as you can - don't delay, decide today!

 

Existing Orders:

Manufacturing has been delayed for many items due to a backlog of orders whilst they were closed, also component shortages from their suppliers, having to run their production lines whilst adhering to social distancing, and the sheer number of orders we have taken over recent months.

Once we are in a position to deliver your order we will contact you. Please be patient and wait for us to contact you. We will provide you updates on progress and give you approximate delivery times where we can.

 

Guidance based on Product Type:

Pool Tables - these require specialist handling by 2 man delivery team. We are following government guidelines for social distancing where installation is required. Please observe advice from our delivery team on processes to be followed to ensure everyone's safety.

We have been incredibly busy with pool table sales. We still have some in stock, and we have priority manufacturing in place with many of our suppliers. Due to people staying at home far more for the foreseeable future we expect sales to continue at a high level.

Arcade Machines - most of these can be delivered by pallet delivery which will leave the product outside your property, but you will need two of you to be able to handle the product into your property. The pallet company will call you to arrange the day for your delivery with you directly. The ArcadePro Mercury and Lunar products will be sent by DPD courier.

Table Tennis Tables - stock has been in very short supply during the last 3 months. Stock is now becoming available on a regular basis. All stock currently available is shown on our website. Delivery dates will be booked directly with you by the courier.

Football Tables - relatively good stocks for now, but some models are running low. Delivery dates will be booked directly with you by the courier.

Pinball Machines -  these require specialist handling by 2 man delivery team. We have been extremely busy with pinball orders. Our technician is working through our normal servicing processes as quickly as he can.

Jukeboxes - these require specialist handling by 2 man delivery team. Some models are available from stock for both Sound Leisure and Rockola, please call for availability. Both manufacturers are back running again and we can advise on order times for a specific model if its not available from stock.

Air Hockey - these require specialist handling by 2 man delivery team. Most of the range is available from stock.

Shuffleboard -  these require specialist handling by 2 man delivery team. We have most of our range in stock with more products on their way.

Accessories - most of our accessories products are shipped directly from the supplier by courier or post. If you'd like to check on a specific product please call us.

 

It's great news that we are able to operate fairly normally again now, with the biggest challenge being the regular supply of stock from suppliers. Our team is working hard to provide our exceptional level of award-winning service, whilst adhering to COVID-secure guidelines, to keep all our customers safe.
