We're getting excited about the start of the new Chinese 8-Ball Masters today. This game is becoming more and more popular throughout the world and is attracting the very best cue sports players from across the globe, including such big names as Stephen Hendry, Gareth Potts, Darren Appleton, Chris Melling, Karl Boyes, Shane Van Boening and many more!
Chinese 8-Ball is a really interesting form of pool, played with 8-Ball rules on a 9ft table with American size balls. This large format pool looks great on television and the rules are easy to understand. Last year, here at Home Leisure Direct, we were glued to the screen during our breaks, cheering on all the cue sports players that we all know and have watched winning tournaments throughout the year.

Obviously the content for this tournament is written in Chinese, so it's difficult for us to get a lot of information on it, but we are liasing directly with players and Gareth Potts will be giving us updates during his stay in China.
