---- Hi there! and welcome to the first edition of Home Leisure Direct TV news where each week we will bring you the latest news about everything games room related.
We're going to have the latest information on all the cool products we sell, special offers, competitions, events and so on so tune in each week to keep up to date on everything thats going on.

Ok. So the first bit of really exciting news we’ve got this week is the fact that we have been selected for the ECMOD Direct Commerce Awards which is for national retailers. We’re in with such eminent competition as John Lewis, Argos, ASOS and Littlewoods. It’s being held at Chelsea’s football ground, Stamford Bridge next week on the 18th of April, and it’s being presented by Sky news presenter Dermot Murnaghan.
We’re going to be closing, we’re going to take the whole team with us so we’re shut half day Thursday the 18th and all day Friday the 19th but then open again on the 20th, the Saturday. But we’re just chuffed to bits to be involved, win or lose we’re going to have a great night come Thursday night.
Okay so the first product to show you this week then is the super cool, literally, Vendo 56 Coca-Cola machine. Manufacturerd in 1957, this model is highly collectable due to it’s beautiful design and small size. It holds 56 bottles and it doesn’t just have to be Coke, the great thing about the Vendo 56 is that it can take other bottles too, including beer bottles! Restored in the US and converted to work on British power, the Vendo 56 is a rare and beautiful thing.
Next we have 4 new models from Bonzini, the 22 player ‘Giant’ is 7 metres long, the ‘Half Giant’ is 3 and a half metres long giving enough room for 8 players. Then we have 2 patriotic tables, the UK Brick and the UK Blue. Four great editions to the iconic Bonzini range.
Also arriving in our showroom this week is the Adams Family pinball. The best selling pinball machine since the 1930’s, it was released in 1992 and sold over 20,000 units. This example has been fully restored, new play field, plastics, ramps, rubbers and balls plus it has the super rare Adams Family gold decals fitted to the cabinet.

The games has a host of great features including Thing appearing and taking the ball from the play field.

Why not pop down and have a go?
Keeping with pinball, this week Stern has announced their next machine will be Metallica featuring 12 classic Metallica hits. Following hot on the heels of Rolling Stones and the very popular AC/DC.
Three versions will be released, Pro, Premium and Limited Edition.
And the final piece we have for you this week is the 8-ball cue rack. Previously only available in black, we are now able to offer it in white and red versions which have just arrived into our showroom and look fantastic. There is also a silver version in the pipeline which we hope to have on display soon.
