The one annual show the team here at Home Leisure Direct really looks forward to is the EAG EXPO at ExCel London, because we're always excited about the new products on show.. Here’s what went down at this year’s EAG!
Great to see George Gomez playing the latest Stern Pinball, Stranger Things. George is one of the worlds leading Pinball machine designers and a true legend of the industry.
Atari Pong had both their games on show, the new 4-player version which looked amazing and their original 2-player coin-op version.
Something very cool heading to our website and showrooms real soon, the new Atari stool. As you can see from the image, they look super cool. If you’re a gamer or want something funky in your games room/man cave this is the perfect addition. Stay tuned for the release very soon.
You cannot beat a classic and a classic that looks even better than the original. The Skee-Ball Glow definitely stood out in the crowd, the update and new look are impressive. Positive changes in the modern games room or arcade. Keep the good times rollin! Skee-Ball will be available to view and paly at our Competitive Socialising event on February 27th in London.
If you have a spare £25k and love an interactive shooting gallery, then the new Gun Arena from Taito is the game for you. Fires real plastic pellets at the screen. One of our fave games at the show.
Sega Centipede the 80’s classic arcade has had an update. The 2020 Centipede Chaos, the hit 80’s classic crawler game is back to take over arcades around the globe! Cosmetically this game has some incredible features that make it stand out from the crowd. Great fun to play and the graphics are incredible.
The team was definitely on a spy mission at EAG, sorry we couldn’t resist that! Sega was in full effect this year and one of their showcase machines was the ‘Mission: Impossible Arcade’ IT WAS HUGE and very impressive. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ARCADE gameplay software is truly packed with explosive action, excitement, suspense, and humor from start to end.
Foosball AKA Table Football was popular this year, Super Kixx Pro another of highlight on the Sega stand, they call it Bubble Soccer, allows for competitive play for all ages modeled after the original Super Chexx game that has been a hit for over 35 years!
Everyone loves a T-Rex. The Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom game by Andamiro was BIG. The dimensions are 55” D by 118” W that’s almost 10 ft and 85” in height. Anything with the Jurassic name to it will be successful and look amazing.
Racecraft Arcade a good mix between a simulator and arcade gameplay, Racecraft has 15 original circuits each having different technical characteristics designed to bring out driving skills, a multiplayer for up to 8 players.
Hologate VR a gateway to reality and hours of serious fun. We played it and the team was smiling from ear to ear. In the world of virtual reality where you’ll fight robots, zombies, and dragons - you can’t get more fun than that.
