On September 4th, we launched our Games Room of the Year 2017 Competition. The public had the chance to enter their games rooms in hope to win a grand prize of £3000.
We had a variety of entries this year including an arcade built based on nostalgia, a two-story home-pub filled with a growing collection of arcades, gin and much more, football themed rooms and even a Las Vegas inspired bar.
This years competition completely blew us away with its popularity. Our number of entries tripled in comparison to last year and with that, the quality of the entries increased too. People from all over the country have been eager to know who the winner was.
After over two months of amazing entries and an incredible amount of votes, the winner has been decided. The games room owner to win the amazing prize of £3000 and the title of UK’s best Games Room of the Year 2017 goes to Graeme Strachan!
Graeme entered his amazing games room into our competition explaining that his uninhabitable attic was transformed into his dream games room where his friends and family always have a great time. This definitely made our Facebook audience appreciate how great his games room is as he was one of the two winners of the Wildcard Vote*.
We visited Graeme to give him his well-deserved prize.
