It's that time of year again. It's time for the world's most prolific Snooker event - The Cazoo 2022 Champion of Champions Snooker Tournament, promoted by Matchroom Sport. Star snooker players from every corner of the world will converge on Bolton for an extraordinary display of professional snooker.
What is the Champion of Champions Tournament?
The Champion of Champions Tournament is one of the most prestigeous events in the world of cue sports, boasting one of the world's largest prize funds and a competitive, invitation-only roster of players from all over the world. To earn yourself a place amongst the elite, you must prove yourself and your Snooker ability by exceptional performance at various events during the WST tour. Such names in this year's tournament include legends like Judd Trump, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Mark Selby, Zhao Xintong and more.
Over the course of the week-long tourament, the 16 competitors will be split into 4 different groups, being pit head to head to find an overall best of the best... The overall winner will take home their share of the £400,000 prize fund, of which the winner will take home an eye-watering £150,000 in prize money.

The centrepiece of all the drama will be this: The Magnum II Snooker Table built by Rasson. 12ft in length with a computer-refined slate split into 5 segments, the Magnum II is a snooker table that offers playability beyond compare.
The Magnum II boasts some impressive features to help it stand out amongst the crowd.
- 50mm Pro Rasson Slate - Grinded and sanded to millimetric precision, the Pro Rasson slate guarantees a perfect surface, giving you an unmatched Snooker playing surface.
- Steel and Wood Construction - A durable frame comprised of steel and wood makes the table as solid as a rock and features numerous fixing points for the slate, giving uniform weight distribution across the whole table. The table is fitted with fine-tuning bolts that allows the slate to be levelled across its entire length and width.
- L77 Rasson Cushions - The entire cushion rail is braced by a 10mm steel backing plate used in conjunction with Rasson's L77 cushion rubber, delivering tournament-standard response around the table and excellent longevity.
- Adamath Bamboo Top Rails - Adamath wood in the top rail gives great strength, and added phenolic resin injected into the wood itself brings out a brilliant lustre not seen on untreadted woods.
- Durable Pocket Design - Each durable netted pocket features gulley rails to keep potted balls easy to reach. Each pocket is hand-stitched using a premium cattle leather.
Rasson, the table's manufacturer has been the maker of choice for the tournament since 2017, with the tournament going between the Rasson Magnum II as seen above as well as the Rasson Strong II. They have established themelves as one of the leading billiard brands in the world, producing over 10,000 tables each year, earning them a prestigeous pedigree in the world of cue sports.
