24hours... 250 games of pool... 3 professional pool players... and a huge amount of money raised for Mind Bristol
Our 24hr Charity Poolathon took place on March 10-11th 2023 at the Supreme Sports Lounge in Bristol in memory of our Co-founder Michelle.
What an outstanding performance! World and European Champion, Ben Flack, completed a full 24hrs of playing pool for our charity Poolathon and stacked up an impressive 250 games of pool total.
Despite the photos, Ben did not play for so long that he lost all of his hair! But he did have his head shaved for charity once we went over the £1000 donation mark. Great effort from Ben in doing all he could to raise money for Mind Bristol, what a hero.

We had numerous donations to our Mind money bucket and card reader, as well as sponsors for Ben Flack to complete the 24 hours. Guests also gave donations to play a game of pool against our volunteer professional pool players Gareth Potts and Shane Thompson.
In total, the Poolathon raised over £9,000 in donations to Mind Bristol.
Alongside the Poolathon, our other fundraising events and just giving page, we are nearing the £20,000 mark, which is just incredible!! Home Leisure Direct are continuing to try and increase the grand total to our target of £30,000, so if you haven't already, please donate or bid in our auction.
