The eCommerce Awards is one of the most prestigious events for online retailers as it celebrates the best companies and products within the entire industry. Some of the awards categories this year included General Awards, Industry Specific Awards, Innovation Awards and the Specialist Awards.
We were very pleased to hear that we had been nominated for several awards at this ceremony but to win one was a great honour.
We had a great day at the eCommerce Expo, where we learnt about the latest advances in the industry and how we could apply them to Home Leisure Direct.
Andy, Abi and Dave attended the evening awards ceremony- dressed to impress at the glamorous black tie event in the Park Plaza Riverbank, London.
The ceremony began after dinner and a few glasses of wine, the awards began. We were up against some great competition from the other shortlisted companies but we managed to win the Best Leisure, Entertainment and Sport eCommerce Award - we’re delighted about this win.
The rest of the Home Leisure Direct team anxiously waited at home to hear the news and were soon all message a photo of Andy, Abi and Dave with the award.
The whole team was very excited about the win as it reflected all of their hard work and dedication.
