This February will see businesses from all across the UK battle it out against each other in a bid to be crowned Home Leisure Direct’s ‘Office Breakout of the Year 2019’.
Following the results of our recent research on the office breakout climate, we now know that staff want to see their companies incorporate equipment in their office breakout areas that will give them the downtime they need to recharge their batteries during the day.
Managing Director, here at Home Leisure Direct, Andy Beresford could testify to this. “Our guys here in our main office have access to all of our games products on a daily basis. Whether it’s a quick game of table tennis, or a spin on one of our arcades, you can always tell how rejuvenated they feel after taking a break.”
We see a high volume of businesses send us photos of their Home Leisure Direct pool tables, arcade machines and table tennis tables taking pride of place in their offices week in week out.
Andy is excited about the upcoming competition, “We’ve obviously run Games Room of the Year for 4 years on the run, and during that time we’ve actually had a few offices submit their breakout areas. But this is the first time that we have run a competition purely for business and can’t wait to see the high calibre of entrants we will receive.”
Offices will be battling it out not only for the glory of being crowned the very first Office Breakout of the Year, but also for a £3,000 voucher for team-building event specialists; Off Limits. Off Limits provide out of the box, unique team experiences and events, everything from escape rooms and cocktail making classes for the more low-key, to buggie racing, paintball and high ropes for the adrenaline junkies!
Entries open on Friday 8th February, with businesses able to submit their entries on our website here, and will run through the entire month until midnight on Thursday 28th February.
