Stern Pinball Inc., creator of some of the world’s best pinball machines - from Indiana Jones to The Walking Dead - have announced their newest project: KISS Pinball! This new machine from the legendary manufacturer will be available very soon from Home Leisure Direct, in a choice of three different models.

KISS have been rocking since 1973, putting on some of the wildest and most creative live shows in the world for over 40 years. With over 80 million album sales worldwide, they are one of the most iconic and influential rock bands of all time. Fire breathing, rocket launches and levitating drum kits are all staples of their unique live performance style, and so it’s no surprise that they’ve been immortalised in pinball form more than once. In 1978, Bally released a KISS pinball machine that proved extremely popular, and now Stern have recaptured that magic with a brand new machine from the same designer.

The new KISS pinball machine echoes the classic 1978 version in its layout, with the same pop bumpers and KISS light grid, but brings the whole concept screaming and rocking into the 21st century. The standout feature is of course Gene Simmons’ head, which locks balls inside and then spits them out for the “Blood-Spitting Demon Bass Solo” multiball feature. Replicating Paul Stanley’s love for flying out over the crowd on wires, the ball will be propelled by magnets to fly around the back of the arena, landing just in time for the song “Love Guns” which will make the toy Stanley rock out.
For those of you interested in the music as well as the pinball, KISS Pinball has you well covered. A fantastic range of classic KISS songs are included: Deuce, Hotter Than Hell, Lick It Up, Shout It Out Loud, Detroit Rock City, Calling Dr. Love, Rock & Roll All Night, Love Gun, Love It Loud and Black Diamond. KISS Pinball promises to be not only a fantastic pinball machine, but a worthy tribute to one of the most successful and iconic bands of all time.
As is usual for Stern’s newer pinball machines, KISS will come in Pro, Premium and Limited Edition models. Expect features such as the flying Paul Stanley, more colour-changing LEDs, and an additional bank of classic drop targets, as well as the envy of your friends at your fantastic limited edition pinball!
