On Friday we were pleased to have our new Eight Ball Deluxe pinball machine installed in our showroom in Bristol. It is a beautifully renovated model is in superb working condition, having been restored by a specialist here in the UK. This is quite a rare game to find in Britain and it’s a fantastic addition to the showroom opposite our pool tables.
This pinball machine was so popular when it first came out in 1981, that they made two more batches of Limited Editions in as many years, to cater for demand. Our model is the original 1981 version that has undergone extensive restoration to revive it to its former glory.
The artwork in the backboard is in stunning condition and still looks just as cool as it did when it was made, with its Robert Redford style central figure and iconic Wild Western typography.
The play field looks stunning as it has a brand new overlay and it plays beautifully with a whole new set of freshly replaced plastics, rubbers, flippers and balls among lots of other replacement parts to bring this vintage treasure back to life.
The unique style of sound effects and guiding speech on this machine has been enhanced with new speakers along with new chrome legs to finish the whole thing off.
This pinball game is really unusual to find in the UK, especially in such great condition and is a highly sought after. This pinball machine would be a fantastic addition to any games room, and would look especially good in a room with a pool table as it is the perfect theme to tie the two games together. It looks great in our showroom bridging the gap between pool and arcade games.
