Although our more contemporary pool tables are more popular, sometimes a customer comes along with the vision to customise one of our more typically traditional looking tables and give it a total facelift!
That was exactly what customer Graham N did with his games room purchase. Our Ouessant Pool Tables are usually reserved for a more traditional style gamesroom as the manufacturers studio shots show the Ouessant Pool Table in a dark wood finish with burgundy cloth and a dark oak with green cloth. However Graham opted for the beautiful Natural Oak finish we offer, which is one of our more popular choices in the Montfort range.
The wonderful thing about working with one of the best pool table manufacturers in the world, Billiard Montfort, is that they are able to offer their tables in almost any finish as they carry out all work in-house. One thing they are able to offer is a colour match service, where the customer provides us with a wood sample that we can send to Billard Montfort in France, where they will attempt to colour match with a stain and send it back for your approval.
As with the majority of our luxury pool table range, the Ouessant Pool Table has a lead time of approximately 6 weeks. Once the pool table was ready we got back in contact with our customer to arrange delivery and fitting. This customer was furnishing a games room so we also had to arrange the delivery of an Ice Track Air Hockey machine to complete their room for which they had waited so patiently.
As a games room retailer, when you offer so many tables for sale in so many colour options, occasionally a table will come along in a wood and cloth combination that you have never had commissioned before and this Ouessant Pool Table was one of those.
When we received the photos in the office we were genuinely taken aback with how gorgeous this particular combination is! The choice of wood really accentuates the detailing and shows its true beauty.
My personal opinion is that this would look sensational as a snooker table. Thankfully, Billiard Montfort can offer the Ouessant Pool Table in sizes that range from 7ft right up to 9ft, so although not a full-size 12ft version, our most popular size snooker tables we sell are 8ft and 9ft as very few homes have the space for anything bigger.
