Games Room of the Year

We love seeing Games Room photos from our customers and thought it would be a great idea to start up a competition to crown 'Games Room of the Year'.

Each year we look for Games Rooms that have had a lot of thought and passion go into the creation of them.

Games Room of the Year 2016 started in September when we went on the hunt again to find the best games room that the UK had to offer. We were overwhelmed by the amount of people who entered this year and the quality of the games rooms! We had everything from Arcades to Home Pubs this year.

At the start of November, our internal judging panel narrowed the entries down to just 10 finalists. Then these entries went head-to-head in the public vote. After counting up and double checking the voting, we'd like to say a massive congratulations to the winner of Games Room of the Year 2016....

Darron Stump, owner of Stumpy's Games Room - an amazing Spurs themed creation, has won the Terminator 2 Pinball Machine worth £4,000.

2015 was the first year that we ran Games Room of the Year. We were overwhelmed when the amazing entries started to roll in .

After narrowing the entries down to 15 finalists, one for each region and 5 wildcards. After a public vote, Chris Embling was announced as the winner on the first ever Games Room of the Year competition.

His pub-style Games Room named 'Rory’s Return' is their pub-style games room created in memory of their son Rory who passed away suddenly in 2014 due to an underlying heart condition which he was unaware of.

Their Games Room is filled with a fully-stocked bar, a stunning jukebox, signed football shirts and autographs from celebrities such as Barbara Windsor!

We gave Chris a call to ask if we could visit him under the guise that he'd been narrowed down to the top 3! He got a very big surprise when we revealed that he had won. Here's what happened...
