The Billards Plaisance Douvres is available as either an English pool table using 2" size balls or as a American pool table using 2 1/4" size balls, with a one piece slate bed, available in 6ft, 7ft and 8ft size.
This table is part of the Prestige Range from Billards Plaisance, manufactured in a varnished finish. It is a traditional-style table, with solid turned legs and a central drawer ball return system.
The Douvres offers fantastic performance and is a pleasure to play on. The fitted cloth is manufactured by Simonis, arguably the best makers of high-quality American pool table cloth on the market.
Several customisation options are available on this table, including a choice of dining tops, various cloth colours and pocket inserts to convert your table into a carom table (a popular French game).

Type of Pool Game:
American Pool - played with 2 1/4" Spots and Stripes.
English Pool - played with 2" Reds and Yellows. You can upgrade to 2" Spots and Stripes if you wish.
Optional Carom Cushions:
If Carom is your game, or is a version of billiards you have not tried and would like to experience, we can supply your Billard Plaisance pool table with a set of carom cushions. These are supplied with a set of Aramith Premium Carom balls.
The clever patented system allows you to use a special tool to remove the pool cushions and replace them with Carom cushions. This feature genuinely enables you to play both forms of the game with one table.

The same possibility exists with the English pockets and American pockets. If you would like to be able to play both versions of the game we are able to supply both sets of cushions and two sets of balls - one 2" set for English pool and one 2 1/4" set for American pool.

Please note: exact matches for colour finishes cannot always be achieved and guaranteed. Wood is a natural product. Each tree is different to its neighbour. It has a structure and a colour of its own. Differences in colour and grain may occur, which certifies the authenticity of the solid wood. The manufacturer will use the same wood stain for each table made, but because each tree is different there may be variances in colour finish achieved.

We are able to fit your table with Jack Daniel's Pool Table cloth. The cloths are of the highest quality, and are manufactured by Hainsworth. We can provide your Jack Daniel's cloth in either:
- Smart Cloth - designed for use on English pool tables, it has a napped playing surface, like the cloth used on a snooker table.
- Elite Pro - designed for use on American Pool tables, it doesn't have a napped surface so plays faster than Smart cloth.
We will print your cloth and have it fitted by the manufacturer of your pool table.

The Douvres pool table is supplied with Reds and Yellows or Blues and Yellows balls as standard, free of charge:

We hold many pool tables in stock. If this is the case for your choice of model, we will be able to deliver within 7 to 14 days depending upon location and customer availability.
If the table needs to be made to order it will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks to be made. Once completed, our delivery team will contact you to arrange a delivery date.

Free Delivery and Installation (worth £250):
Delivery and installation are free to most locations within mainland UK.

The table will be professionally handled by one of our fully insured specialist two man delivery teams. It will be placed in a ground floor room of your choice, and all packaging removed.
Our team will professionally level the table and show you how to do so yourself, as this is something you will need to do throughout the life of your pool table. They have years of experience, and will be able to answer any questions about the care and use of your table to ensure you get the very best from your new purchase. You will be left with a perfectly installed table, ready to play the first frame of many.
Upstairs, downstairs, and other hard to reach locations:
It is possible to deliver and install the table to a location with difficult access - loft conversions, basements, upstairs, downstairs, up and down steep slopes etc - but this will be at an extra cost.
