With venues across all major cities in the UK, Head of Steam had mastered the bar sector and were looking to convert their secondary spaces in Newcastle and Nottingham into ‘play, eat, repeat’ areas. Their vision required several different gaming options for customers to get their competitive juices flowing.

Shuffleboards
Shuffleboard has grown exponentially in popularity since we launched it in the UK in 2016. Our most popular model is the Signature Marlowe - With a solid wood cabinet and Canadian Maple board this is ideal for commercial environments. The game is designed for 2-8 players and is ideal for group bookings, increasing dwell time, and F&B sales.
Rasson Challenger Pool Table
Rasson is the largest American pool table manufacturer in the world, and is regarded as the best in the market. The rustic wood style of the Challenger suited the industrial Head of Steam decor as if it was designed especially for their venue. The 8ft size gives a brilliant mix of fun and challenge for customers, and the unique K55 cushions, made from a proprietary rubber formulation, will give years of flawless, precise performance.
Rasson Table Tennis Table Top
Head of Steam hit a dilemma that many companies face. Their vision featured pool and table tennis, however, they couldn’t compromise on table space for both. The Venom table tennis tops are an ideal solution, they are a two-piece top with a clip-on net. These rest on top of the pool table allowing for specific table tennis nights and events. The tops are made by Rasson, official suppliers for the Table Tennis World Cup, meaning they both play and look fantastic.
Scuddetto Foosball Tables
Our most popular commercial grade football table is the Signature Scuddetto, designed and built in Italy, the heart of foosball. This is a tournament spec table with fully rotating goalies. It is made from marine ply with steel legs and surrounds which makes it extremely robust. Its glass top protects the table from spillages and prevents people from stealing balls or tampering with the table.
