The Brief

IQ Student Accommodation is one of the best home-from-home student digs in the UK. Their lifestyle ethos promotes positive wellbeing and strives to provide its students with great opportunities to get the most out of their uni experience. They were looking for a communal social and gaming area to host a multitude of items that were both great to look at but of a durable commercial grade. As with many projects, there were some strict deadlines to meet and IQ wanted the ability to customise their games to suit their hub perfectly.

 The following gaming product options were provided as a solution to the clients particular needs: 

RS Barcelona Diagonal Table

The Diagonal gets its name from both the leg design but also the inspiration behind the table. The diagonal streets of Barcelona, where the tables are made, influenced this stunning design. It is one of the top tables in our luxury range. Crafted using steel and solid wood to create a beautifully strong structure, the table is ideal for this project.

RS Barcelona Football Table

Designed by Rafael Rodriguez this RS3 football table is as much aesthetically pleasing as it is durable. A minimalistic and customisable style to match the RS Barcelona Diagonal Pool Table, and together they look even more incredible. The RS3 plays fantastically and is commercial standard, perfect for what IQ was looking for.

Hudson Grand Hudson Deluxe

Hudson is regarded as the number one shuffleboard manufacturer in the world for their build quality, playability, and designs. The Grand Hudson Deluxe is their most popular model with its timeless American style. It’s regarded as the best playing shuffleboard on the planet. From the trim to the playfield any part of the table can be customised. IQ opted for the combination of Rich Walnut and Golden Oak, which looked fantastic in their socialising and games area.

Venom Cobra Table Tennis Table

The Cobra is our most popular design-led table tennis table. Every one is manufactured right here in the UK and made to order. This allows endless customisation options to create unique designs specifically for your needs. IQ chose to add a custom-painted top in their RAL option so the design complimented all their other games products.

Performance

All the products within IQ’s project were free to play providing a brilliant chill-out socialising space open for all to get involved. The games hub made IQ’s accommodation stand out from the rest and is sure to be the beginning of many lifelong friendships as students to get to know each other over some healthy competition.
