Let's face it, we've all had better years. For the first time in a century, the whole planet has faced the challenge of a global pandemic. For obvious reasons, Christmas will be a little different this year, no office parties, no big family gatherings but because of the 'rule of six', there is one Christmas tradition we can all still enjoy, a good old board game.

So, to celebrate the Great British tradition of turning into a money crazed capitalist for a couple of hours we have created our own version of a well-known board game - COVIDOPOLY. The good news is that our game which is based on another well-known property-based frolic is free to download but we have given you the option to make a donation to charity if you wish. To donate to NHS Charities Together please follow the link here or click on the button below:

All funds raised will go to NHS Charities Together. This group of over 240 different charities helps hospitals in the UK do more. These charities, collectively, give around £1 Million a day to help people get better and live longer, including helping people who have or are recovering from COVID-19. The money these charities raise doesn't get spent on the day-to-day running of the NHS but things like mobilising volunteers and building the important links between hospitals and the communities they serve. We're pretty sure given the year that we have had this is something we can all get behind.

What you get:
Download and print the board. The rules will be familiar to you but some of the 'places' may not. Start at 'Make a face mask' and end at 'COVID vaccine'
Take a chance with the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Daily Briefing Cards.

Decided to test your eyesight on a trip to Barnard Castle when you should have been self-isolating? Don't worry, nothing will happen. You can, however, collect money for things like the rectification of Universal Credit errors and mortgage holidays.
You lose money for things like attending an illegal rave or getting snitched on by a nosey neighbour.
2D Printable tokens including some pandemic favourites like a bottle of hand sanitiser, an ambulance, a grounded Easy Jet plane or a Dominoes delivery driver.

What is optional:
Banknotes. You've probably got some of them kicking about from another famous game (and we couldn't figure out contactless payments for this game in time either) but you can download the ones we have created if you want.

If you want to download and donate, you'd better be quick. We're only making this game available until the end of 2020, a year we can all agree we're glad to see the back of.
