Speedball is played with 2 players head to head or 4 players on 2 teams, where the aim (like table football) is to shoot a ball into your opponents goal whilst defending your own goal. Gameplay in speedball is controlled by the Speed-Punchers. These player controlled paddles (similar to air hockey) are used for defending your goal, whilst firing the ball back at your opponent's goal. The action is lightning fast, and can change in the blink of an eye. The first player to reach 20 goals (or who has scored the most goals in 5 minutes) is declared the winner.
Speedball comes in an attractive, sturdy wooden cabinet topped with toughened glass, and has a fantastic play surface made from impact resistant polycarbonate, vibrant LED playfield lighting and a playfield mounted display unit for showing scores.
