The Sam Atlantic is an English pool table using 2” red and yellow balls as standard, with a one piece slate bed, available in 6ft and 7ft sizes.
The Atlantic Pool Table is the finest contemporary professional English pool table available. The Atlantic Pool Table has an aluminium extruded top rail and a unique "ProActive" cushion system which provides the most consistent ball response possible. The Champion element in the name refers to the fact that this version is made in freeplay, rather than as a coin-operated table. This makes it ideal for the home or timed commercial playing environments.

Sam's Atlantic Pool Table has been approved by BAPTO (British Association of Pool Table Operators) for use in the National Tournament.The BAPTO Tournament has been running for 35 years, and is open to any amateur pub pool team. This huge event takes part each year and Sam tables are used, due to their superb playing characteristics and build quality.
The Atlantic has been used in all BAPTO National Finals since 1999 - a mark of its enduring popularity and high standard of construction. The Atlantic was also selected for use in the House of Commons pool tournament 2010 - even Members of Parliament choose the Atlantic!

Choosing Your Cloth
We offer a broad range of different cloths that can be fitted to your pool table, so we're confident that there will be a perfect match for your individual needs, but with so many choices it's easy to get bewildered by all the different terms and colours when looking at a glance. Victoria Cloth (English wool):
This is an English table, so it is usual to put English wool cloth on it. Choose from the colours below:

The cloths are of the highest quality, and are manufactured by Hainsworth. The type of cloth we recommend is Smart cloth. This is a performance cloth that delivers big on value and longevity whilst offering excellent speed and ball response.

- Smart Cloth - designed for use on English pool tables, it has a napped playing surface, like the cloth used on a snooker table.
- Elite Pro - designed for use on American Pool tables, it doesn't have a napped surface so plays faster than Smart cloth.

Optional Lighting:
The Sam Leisure lighting range provides the perfect lighting system for all pool rooms and for the use in tournaments. The specially designed cone of light illuminates the playfield equally, not creating any shadows or darker areas. The player's eyes will not be dazzled, allowing a concentrated and undisturbed game.
These lights are constructed from a steel framework, with steel cable and ceiling fitting. They have 2 flourescent tubes fitted as standard.
Mist Shade - Strikingly modern shades that offer superb lighting to the playing surface but also deliver ambient light to the games room for a contemporary, accessible feel. These rugged steel canopies house fluorescent tubes for the best playing environment. Methacrylate end panels and centre rings radiate light that illuminate without dazzling. The ceiling fixings and cables are in keeping with the 21st century appearance, a million miles away from brass chain and gold braid. Available in black or silver as standard. We do not offer an installation service for any of our lighting options; you would need to arrange this locally.

This product comes backed by a 12 month manufacturer's guarantee. This covers any manufacturing defects to the table, and top if supplied.
Availability:
This table is available with a lead time of 2 to 6 weeks.

Free Delivery (worth £120):
Delivery is free to most locations within mainland UK.
However for locations further north than Glasgow there may be an additional charge depending upon your exact location. Please call our friendly customer service team on 0800 622 6464 for a quote.
We can also deliver to Northern Ireland and Eire at very reasonable rates; please select this from the delivery options. Delivery will be made by a courier to the kerbside at the address that you provide us. They do not offer any service for taking the product into your property or to install the item.
Delivery will be made to the ground floor room of your choice, provided we can park our delivery van near to your property, have easy access and no steps or steep slopes to negotiate. You will need to complete installation yourself, which will require two strong people to undertake, unless you select our Professional Installation service.
Assembly:
The pool table is supplied in 3 main parts: the cabinet, the slate and the legs. The legs bolt onto the cabinet. Once in place you can then place the slate inside the table, and then clip down the frame to secure. The slate and cabinet are extremely heavy, so if you opt to install the table yourself you will again need two strong people to carry it to your chosen location and assemble the table. Please note assembling a table correctly is a specialist job. If you are in doubt as to whether you will be able to complete the job satisfactorily yourself we recommend you have your new table professionally installed.

Professional Installation:
Many people prefer to have the table installed for them, to save potential damage to their table, their property, and more importantly themselves. If you select this option then the table will be professionally handled by one of our fully insured specialist two man delivery teams. It will be placed in a ground floor room of your choice, and all packaging removed.
Our team will professionally level the table and show you how to do so yourself, as this is something you will need to do throughout the life of your pool table. They have years of experience, and will be able to answer any questions about the care and use of your table to ensure you get the very best from your new purchase. You will be left with a perfectly installed table, ready to play the first frame of many.
Please Note: We use dedicated two man teams to complete all of our installations, so you don't have to lift a finger. We are fully insured, just in case any accidents happen. Our installation teams just install pool and snooker tables, nothing else. This shows in the high quality of the work we do. Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed.
Upstairs, downstairs, and other hard to reach locations:
It is possible to deliver and install the table to a location with difficult access - loft conversions, basements, upstairs, downstairs, up and down steep slopes etc - but this will be at an extra cost.
